What happens when Orison is not supplying power?

  October 3, 2016   |   Category: Technology

Electricity flows from the source (electric grid or local power) to load (appliance) so when Orison is not discharging, a load is drawing power from the grid through the interconnecting circuit panel.  When Orison starts discharging (at times of high electricity price or when scheduled by the user) on a circuit, it immediately replaces the flow from the grid by sending power back into the house wiring.  This does not mean there is any higher current on that circuit than before Orison started discharging so there are no electrical safety or reliability issues.
