The Orison system can operate without connection to the internet via its local mesh network and mobile app. It can use Wi-Fi, but also has other networking options such Bluetooth Low Energy. By default, the Orison App communicates with the storage units via the Cloud. Whenever a connection to the Orison Cloud is not available the Orison App will communicate directly to the storage units.
