You do not connect Orison storage directly to your solar system, rather you plug it into the house circuit and then direct the solar energy into the house so you can store it locally. In addition to directly monitoring the power flow at the circuits associated with solar generation, we can use historical data combined with weather to set the charging times to closely match the generation times and output. In future versions, Orison products may allow for direct solar DC input to the device for off grid applications.
