How is Orison energy storage different from a UPS?

  October 3, 2016   |   Category: Technology

A UPS provides enough power to allow you to quickly shut down critical equipment, such as a computer, to prevent damage. For most typical computer workstations, one might have a UPS that was rated to keep the machine alive through a 15-minute power loss.

Orison provides enough power for you to keep using the equipment until power is restored. It also works to save you money on your electric bills every day through energy arbitrage, peak demand shaving and participation in demand response programs. Orison helps the grid remain stable as more renewable energy is installed on it.
